Insurance Company Finder Follow

The Insurance Company Finder is used to help locate and open the Insurance Company Maintenance window for a specific insurance customer in order to view or edit its details.

After specifying the search criteria in the fields above and clicking the Find Now button, use the following table to help understand the data shown in the grid.

Column Description

Insurance ID Displays abbreviated ID or code for this insurance company.

Insurance Name Displays the full title or description of this insurance company.

Phone Displays the primary phone number of this insurance company.

Address Displays the Bill To Address of this insurance company.

City Displays the Bill To City of this insurance company.

State Displays the Bill To State of this insurance company.

Zip Displays the Bill To Zip Code of this insurance company.

Type Displays the Customer Type associated with this insurance company.

Report Group Displays the report group associated with this insurance company.

Sales Rep Displays the sales representative assigned to this insurance company.

Alias Displays an alternative name, if applicable, for the sales representative assigned to this insurance company.

 

Scroll down the list to find the record(s), highlight it (them), and then select one of the following options:

     Click the Edit Company button to go to the Insurance Company Maintenance window to edit the highlighted record.

     Click the Create New Company button to add an insurance company.

     Click the Export to Excel button to export the grid data to an Excel spreadsheet.

     Click Print List to Print a Finder List or generate a Customized Finder List.

     Click the Delete Company(ies) button to delete the highlighted records.

 

Search Criteria

Insurance ID - In the Insurance ID field, enter the abbreviated name of the insurance company. Note: Even typing in the first few letters will display a list of like Insurance IDs in the Insurance Company Finder grid.

Insurance Name - In the Insurance Name field, enter the full name of the insurance company.

Report Group - In the Report Group field, enter the name of the report group associated with the insurance company.

Phone - In the Phone field, enter the primary telephone number of the insurance company.

Address - In the Address field, enter the bill to address of the insurance company.

City - In the City field, enter the bill to city of the insurance company.

State - In the State field, enter the bill to state of the insurance company.

Zip - In the Zip field, enter the bill to zip code of the insurance customer.

Agent ID - In the Agent ID field, enter the abbreviated name of the insurance agent associated with the insurance company.

Status - Use the drop-down menu to select the status (Active, Inactive, and All) of the insurance company.

Territory - Use this field to look up and filter only those insurance companies assigned to a specific location ( e.g., S.W. Portland, S.E. Portland, N. Portland, N.E. Portland, S. Portland, N.W. Portland, W. Portland, etc.). Enter the name of the territory (ies) with the insurance company(ies).
Note: To look up insurance companies in multiple territories, separate each name with a pipe character (|). Make sure no spaces are included.
