The Insurance Agent Finder is used to help locate and open the Insurance Agent Maintenance window for a specific agent in order to view or edit its details.
After specifying the search criteria in the fields above and clicking the Find Now button, use the following table to help understand the data shown in the grid.
Agent ID Displays the abbreviated ID or code for this insurance agent.
Agent Name Displays the full title or description of this insurance agent.
Phone Displays the primary phone number of this insurance agent.
Address Displays the Bill To Address of this insurance agent.
City Displays the Bill To City of this insurance agent.
State Displays the Bill To State of this insurance agent.
Zip Displays the Bill To Zip Code of this insurance agent.
Type Displays the Customer Type associated with this insurance agent.
Report Group Displays the report group associated with this account customer.
Sales Rep Displays the sales representative assigned to this insurance agent.
Scroll down the list to find the record(s), highlight it (them), and then select one of the following options:
� Click the Edit Agent button to go to the Insurance Agent Maintenance window to edit the highlighted record.
� Click the Create New Agent button to add an insurance agent.
� Click the Export to Excel button to export highlighted record to a MS Excel spreadsheet.
� Click Print List to Print a Finder List or generate a Customized Finder List.
� Click the Delete Agent(s) button to delete the highlighted records.
Agent ID - In the Agent ID field, enter the abbreviated name of the insurance agent. Note: Even typing in the first few letters will display a list of like insurance agents in the Insurance Agent Finder grid.
Agent Name - In the Agent Name field, enter the name of the insurance agent.
Report Group - In the Report Group field, enter the name of the report group that is associated with the insurance agent.
Phone - In the Phone field, enter the primary telephone number of the insurance agent.
Address - In the Address field, enter the mail to address of the insurance agent are looking for.
City - In the City field, enter the city of the insurance agent are looking for.
State - In the State field, enter the state of the insurance agent.
Zip - In the Zip field, enter the zip code of the insurance agent.
Insurance ID - In the Insurance ID field, enter the abbreviated name of the insurance company agent.
Status - Use the drop-down menu to select the status (Active, Inactive, and All) of the insurance agent.
Territory - Use this field to look up and filter only those insurance agents assigned to a specific location ( e.g., S.W. Portland, S.E. Portland, N. Portland, N.E. Portland, S. Portland, N.W. Portland, W. Portland, etc.). Enter the name of the territory that encompasses the agent(s) sought.
Note: To look up insurance agents in multiple territories, separate each name with a pipe character (|). Make sure no spaces are included.
