Use the Payment Settings in the Configuration Settings Explorer to activate different features and behavior dealing with payments.
1. From the GlasPac®LX menu bar, select Company and Settings… to open the Configuration Settings explorer. Then maximize the Application Settings section in the explorer and select Payment Settings.
2. Select the checkboxes of the features and behavior you want to activate in GlasPac®LX.
3. When finished, select the Save button to activate your selected features.
Descriptions of Payment Settings:
Payment Types - This grid displays what types of payments are available. The Active column shows whether this type of payment can be entered in order entry. The grayed out rows are standard payment type options included in GlasPacLX. Use the Add Payment Type button to add custom payment types. To change the active status of a payment type or change the name of a custom type, double-click the row or click the Edit Payment Type button. Use the Delete Payment Type(s) button to delete the highlighted custom payment type. Included payment types cannot be deleted.
Default Payment Type - When entering a payment in order entry, the payment type dropdown will default to this value.
Require Entry of Check Information - Select this option if you want the “Check #,” “License #,” and “State” information fields on the Payment Methods window to be required fields. Turning this option on will prevent you from saving the order until entries are made to these fields.
Require Entry of Credit Card Information - Select this option if you want the credit card information fields on the Payment Methods window to be required fields.
Enable Credit Card Processing - Check this box to enable credit card processing through X-Charge. Some additional setup is required to fully enable this feature.
X-Charge Settings - These credentials are used to process credit cards through X-Charge.
Credit Cards - Use these checkboxes to configure what credit card types are accepted when entering a payment.
