Setting Up Contract Job Configuration Follow

Setting Up Contract Job Config

Purpose: Contract job’s configuration setup provides several controls which aid in the use and presentation of data on subsequent contract job screens.

Benefits:

·      Allows for the creation of sequential contract ID’s.

·      Estimate and contract ID’s can be different to suit the needs of the business.

·      Configuration also allows for free-form entry of the estimate or contract ID.

The configuration screen is accessed from the GlasPacLX main menu and illustrated below.

From the menu choose Contracts > Contract Job Configuration.

The configuration screen is divided into three sections. Section one describes the default job ID, for estimates, section two is for contracts, and section three for contract job settings. Each section is described below:

Default Job ID

This section is used to indicate a prefix (beginning) and suffix (ending) to the job ID. In the screen illustration above, the suffix is est standing for estimate. So when a new contract job is opened it will have the number of 1000est.

Next Sequence #:

This field will represent the next sequential number for the next contract job.
