You can select a contact preference during order entry on the ECI screen or the Customer tab.
- By default the messaging preference is none/blank.
- Select email, text, or call to fill in a value.
- Email sends emails to the email address entered for the customer.
- Text sends text messages to the primary phone for the customer.
- Call does not automatically message the customer. Select this option if the customer would like to be called with order updates.
