How do I clear my browser cache? Follow

Overview

Sometimes an internet browser will store website information that is out of date or corrupt.  This data needs to be cleared so that the correct information can be downloaded and used.  This document will walk you through the steps to clearing this storage or cache in your browser.

Internet Explorer (Microsoft)

  • Tap your Alt key to bring up your menu options
  • Click Tools > Internet Options
  • Under Browsing History, click the Delete button
  • Clear the check boxes from all but the following:
    • Preserve Favorites website data
    • Temporary Internet files and website files
  • Click the Delete button
  • Close Internet Explorer
  • Retry connecting to https://connect.gtsonline.net

 

Firefox (Mozilla)

  • Click Tools > Options
  • Select Advanced at the top of the screen
  • Select the Network tab
  • In the Cached Web Content, click the Clear Now button
  • Close Firefox and connect to https://connect.gtsonline.net

 

Chrome (Google)

  • Google Chrome is not supported for Secure Connect
