My Secure Connect session keeps dropping Follow

Overview

This article refers to connection timeouts that you may experience when using Secure Connect.

 

Background

The F5 Secure Connect online connection uses the Microsoft Remote Desktop application on your local computer to make the connection to your GTS Online server.  Some users experience drops when their session is minimized or idle for periods of time.  This is NOT a Secure Connect setting.  This is a timeout with the local Remote Desktop application.

 

Resolution

GTS Services has an a script that tells your Remote Desktop application to continue sending data when it is idle in order to keep the connection alive.
