How do I register the Breakaway application? Follow

Overview

Breakaway has its own Registration Application.  If a customer moves their data to a new server or adds/removes a user license, then this application must be used to re-register the Breakaway application.

To access customer servers and to Atlantis1, user the AccTerm application located on the DC1Support1 server.  Logon to DC1Support1 with your admin.<username> credentials.

Customer's Server

  • Log on as the gtsadmin user
  • From the menu, select option 17 (RETAIL-7.0-USER.01)
  • If a menu is displayed, type T to drop to the TCL Prompt
  • Type SOFTWARE.KEY
    • Make sure that you type the above command in ALL CAPS.  Linux is a case sensitive operating system.

The following screen will display:

The # OF AUTHORIZED USERS and SYSTEM SERIAL # fields will be unique to each customer.

 

Registration Server

  • Log on to the Atlantis1 server as the gtsadmin user
  • From the menu, select option 11 (GTS-6.1-PDS)
  • At the TCL Prompt, type BASK
    • Again, make sure that you type the above command in ALL CAPS.

The following screen will display:

  • Type the customer's name or serial number on line 1
  • The customer's account should display
  • From the customer's server, copy the System Serial # to line 2
  • Enter the number of registered users on line 3
  • Once the Software Key has been generated, copy it to the customer's server and paste over the current Software Key.

NOTE:  To exit out of the Customer side registration screen WITHOUT making changes, hit the Space Bar, and then Enter.
